The price-performance ratio is the best we have found on Elba.Very good food at reasonable prices. We ate here 3 evenings.Only recommended.

Arriving from Trieste on holiday with my wife and daughter, I immediately asked the locals for an excellent restaurant that cooks fresh fish... they immediately recommended the "Le Palme" restaurant in Bagnaia near Portoferraio...Fabulous mixed fish starter... delicious rock bavette, not to mention the paccheri with swordfish...The second course of swordfish rolls is spectacular...We finished with homemade desserts and the exstasiante Bergamino, an exceptional and unobtainable homemade liqueur based on bergamot!The chef/owner Mr. Antonio, in addition to being a kind and polite person, in our opinion is a true professional of the culinary art!Equally professional and kind all the staff!When I return to the island I will definitely return for lunch and dinner with them.For price and quality I definitely give it a 10!

First of all, never have i written any reviews of restaurants before. But this one has to be reviewed. The food is spectacular, we had the linguini with mussels several times, the rolls of swordfish also and the children also had the bolognese. Swordfish and linguini with mussels was hands down the best meal we had in Italy in our 10 days stay. Cool thing is that it looks like a whatever, last chance, we have no reservations anywere else so let’s just eat and forget about it kind of place.Once again it is really a special food experience, even if it means driving quite a while to get there.Best regards and all the best for the future!!

Nice crepes

A great place to eat!! No idea why this restaurant has so many negative reviews..... All the food was great.... From simple Bruschetta to Cinghiale to local fish...... Good service, well thought out menu..... Almost the end of the season now.....

We have been to this restaurant adjacent to Bagnaia beach twice, the view of the sunset over the bay of Portoferraio is sublime. The first and second seafood starters are excellent, particularly the tasty starter "Sfizio di mare" with cod and breaded and fried anchovies, boiled octopus with potatoes, anchovies poor style, shrimp in pink sauce, pie with vegetables and fish. Excellent spaghetti with clams, linguine with seafood and sliced tuna with sweet and sour Tropea onion. The Ansonica wine from Elba from the Monte Fabbrello company is exquisite. The last but not the least the attentive and friendly service.

Super fresh seafood. Excellent preparation never overdone bringing out the best of the ingredients. Best value for the money by far.
